Was SSR offered a film before his death?

During the ongoing investigation on Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Uday Singh Gauri from CornerStone LLP — a Mumbai-based talent management agency, has revealed that SSR was in talks for an upcoming film being planned based on the decreased Pakistani terrorist, Ajmal Kasab who was involved in the Mumbai 26/11 terror attacks reportedly. He also added that the alleged discussion took place on June 13 over the phone, just a day before he was found dead in his Bandra apartment on June 14.
According to an entertainment portal, Uday in his statement to the Mumbai Police, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and the Enforcement Directorate, also shared that he had contacted SSR for the film offer on his mobile phone and as per reports, later film director Nikhil Advani and producer Ramesh Taurani had also joined them for a seven-minute conference call.

Sources also confirm that the late actor’s call records indicate that Gauri had reached out to him five to six times a day before his death. However, reportedly, the makers of the film were to further discuss the project on June 15 again.
Talking about planning to cast Sushant for the untitled film, Ramesh Taurani had earlier told Times Now, “I was but I don’t want to comment on it. let the CBI do their work.”
