




Shahid Kapoor indulged in early morning net practice for his role of a retired cricketer in ‘Jersey’. As early as 6 AM, the actor was in the field, attempting to hit winning sixes and fours. Giving fans a glimpse of his training, Shahid posted a candid picture on him batting his way to glory and captioned it, “Get up and get going. Morning all. #jersey… it’s never too late to dream”.
In a follow up post, Shahid shared a black and white gym selfie, once again doling out massive fitness inspiration. Before lockdown, Shahid Kapoor had been shooting for the film in Chandigarh, but had to wrap it up. It is almost after six months that the actor resumed shoot and has been prepping for ‘Jersey’. The team of ‘Jersey’ recently wrapped the Uttarakhand schedule of the film.
Directed by Gowtam Tinnamuri, ‘Jersey’ is a remake of a hit Telugu film by the same name. While Shahid essays the lead, the entertainer also features Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles. Apart from ‘Jersey’, Shahid Kapoor has also been in talks for Dingko Singh biopic, which he plans to produce and will also essay the role of a boxer.
