It was just months ago that word got around about Hrithik Roshan turning his sights to Hollywood. Now, reports doing the rounds claim that the actor is in talks to play a parallel lead as a spy in an upcoming Hollywood action thriller.
The actor has reportedly recorded his audition for the role and sent his tape to the studios. According to reports on Mid-Day, discussions are still in the nascent stage, but if all goes well, Hrithik will be heading westward soon after wrapping work on the next instalment of the superhero franchise ‘Krrish’.
Just last week, Roshan joined fans celebrate seven years since the release of his superhero film. Taking to Instagram, he shared a short animated video with the theme song of the movie playing in the background.
“The human must rise. The reason is the experience itself. K.R.R.I.S.H #krrish (sic),” Hrithik captioned the post.
The social media post was welcomed by fans, eagerly awaiting updates on the superhero film.
Hrithik, who was last seen in the action-thriller ‘WAR’, sharing the screen with Tiger Shroff, has yet to announce his next film.
The actor recently made headlines when word got around that he purchased a swanky and pricey new pad at an estimated Rs 97 crore.
