Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had recommended CBI probe into Sushant Singh Rajput case. The late actor’s father had also met with the CM to thank for the same.

SSR who hailed from Bihar was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra on June 14. Later, Sushant’s father filed a First Information Report in Patna against his son’s friend and actor Rhea Chakraborty, alleging she cheated her son financially and drove him to suicide.
The CBI on Wednesday told the Bombay High Court that Rhea Chakraborty’s accusation against the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sisters for obtaining a fake medical prescription for him is “mostly speculative”.
Rhea had alleged that a fabricated prescription was used to help him procure medicines banned under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act only a few days before his suicide in June 2020.
