The war of words between Kangana Ranaut and Maharashtra Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray continues. The actress clapped back at the CM for his veiled jibe during an addressal at a political rally.
Although he didn’t particularly name the actress, people began connecting the dots when he said, “Someone said Mumbai is like PoK… they come to Mumbai for work and then defame the city. This amounts to namak harami.”
Not one to take the jibe lying down, Kangana hit back at the CM by calling his speech an act of ‘open bullying’.
She said in a tweet, “I am overwhelmed at this open bullying by a working CM.”

During his Dussehra addressal, Thackeray also spoke about the alleged drug racket in Mumbai city and added, “A narrative has been painted to show that the entire city and the state is a drug haven. Everyone here is a drug addict. Any attempt to defame Mumbai and the state will be dealt with strictly.”
He also seemingly took a jibe at Kangana’s home state of Himachal Pradesh, when he said, “They don’t know in our house we grow tulsi, not ganja. Ganja fields are in your state, you know where, not in our Maharashtra.”
Hitting back at the statements, Kangana said that the CM was “ill-informed” and slammed him for engaging in “petty fights”.
“Chief Minister you are a very petty person, Himachal is called Dev Bhumi it has the maximum number of temples also no zero crime rate, yes it has a very fertile land it grows apples, kiwis, pomegranate, strawberries one can grow anything here… cont (sic)” Kangana said in a series of tweets.

She signed off with a warning to the CM, saying, “Just how beauty of Himalayas belongs to every Indian, opportunities that Mumbai offers too belongs to each one of us, both are my homes, Uddhav Thackeray don’t you dare to snatch our democratic rights and divide us.”
