Amritsar school principal bags SOF Best Principal Award -2021

AMRITSAR: Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) has decided to confer ‘SOF Best Principal Award – 2020-21 in Punjab & Chandigarh Zone’ for the year 2020-21 upon Rajiv Kumar Sharma and the Best Teacher Award-2020-21 in Punjab and Chandigarh Zone under the category, GK Olympiad upon Vimmi Sethi, principal and senior teacher respectively of Spring Dale Senior School.
The Best Principal Award consists of a trophy, a citation, and a cheque amounting to Rs 10,000 each, informed Mahabir Singh, founder, and executive director, SOF, in a communique.
Kirat Sandhu Cheema, Director, Spring Dale Educational Society informed media persons on Friday that Sharma had led his team of teachers to continue to focus on the education of students with perseverance and dedication. “The performance of students during the year is a testament to his path-breaking initiatives and proactive leadership,” said Kirat.

Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, Chairman, Spring Dale Educational Society said that the performance of the Spring Daleans was quite significant in 2020-21. More than 47000 schools spread over 48 countries of the world registered for and millions of students appeared in the World’s Biggest Olympiad exams conducted by SOF.

“The award is definitely well-deserved and speaks volumes about the expertise of our principal, his team of teachers, and the hard work put in by them towards the cause of imparting quality education to our students” reads a release issued by the school.
